Court shuts down Ill. lake resort over mold |

FINDLAY, Ill. - A financially troubled
eastern Illinois resort has been closed by court order because of mold.
Attorney E.C. Eberspacher of Shelbyville says the company that's managing
Eagle Creek Resort through receivership asked a Shelby County Court to close
the resort because of the problem. The court agreed Tuesday.
That company, ECR Associates, has been operating the resort while two banks
Eberspacher works for tried to foreclose on the Lake Shelbyville resort.
Eagle Creek had been operated by another company, Eagle Creek Resort LLC.
Eberspacher says the mold developed over a long period.
The Illinois Department of Natural Resources says the closure of the
privately operated resort doesn't affect nearby Eagle Creek State Park and
Wolf Creek State Park.
